I was sick for the two weeks. The first week, I had a cold that knocked me flat and I couldn't do anything. Then I had a headache that lasted for just over a week (in fact, I'm still getting over it, but it is finally starting to feel better). I didn't have the energy to exercise and I couldn't even THINK about eating healthy. Some days it literally took everything I had just to eat SOMETHING. The headache actually made me nauseous a few times, so I really didn't feel like eating.
Now, I am feeling better and starting to think about exercising and eating right. Thinking about it makes me tired. I am lazy! I realize this and am trying to kick myself out of it, but it's hard! By the time I get done work, then running kids everywhere, I just want to sit on my ass and relax, watch TV, read a book.

OK, Ok, I'll still watch TV and read (I can't stop reading), but I am going to start writing down meal plans (and sticking to them) and figuring out an exercise schedule. I think I am going to get a membership to the gym at my work (which gives me a bunch of extras). Plus, I am going to get a good pair of running shoes to prepare for the Spring/Summer Walk/Jog Plan. I am hoping this summer is much warmer (and dryer!) than last summer, as I plan on doing lots of walking/jogging/biking this year.
I am going to lose weight and get in shape, dammit! 2011 is going to be my year.
